Getting Local Currency (ARS Pesos) 💲
It’s always a good idea to have some Argentine pesos on hand for tipping, taking local taxis, or shopping at street markets. While you can use your credit card for most purchases at a very favorable exchange rate, getting cash can be tricky. ATMs often have high fees and unfavorable rates for international cards.
I can help you exchange your US dollars or euros for local pesos at the best possible market rate (known as the “dólar blue”). I’ll recommend trusted exchange houses and can even accompany you to ensure you feel secure and confident throughout the process.
